About 50 New Bedford paraprofessionals demonstrated again Tuesday for better pay and working conditions. They say they are seeking to break out of pay that hovers around the minimum wage.

“Respect" for working women and men is a big part of the demands of the paraprofessionals. Their website includes the statement, “What we do matters.”
